Mount Shasta, Weed, Dunsmuir, and Siskiyou County. 24/7 dispatch.
Expert diesel engine diagnostics and repair services.
The Siskiyou grades stress diesel engines in ways that flat-road driving never does. Sustained load on the climb. Cold starts in sub-freezing temps. Gelled fuel in January. When something breaks on this corridor, the nearest diesel shop is in Redding, 60 miles south.
Fleet Nation does diesel engine repair on-site in the Mount Shasta area and along the I-5 Siskiyou corridor.
Turbo failures. Sustained mountain grades push turbos hard. Wastegate actuators fail, bearings wear, boost leaks develop. We diagnose and replace turbos on-site.
Fuel gelling. Winter temps on the Siskiyou Pass drop below zero. Diesel fuel gels in the lines and filters. The truck will not start or stalls out on the grade. We treat gelled fuel systems and replace clogged filters on-site.
Injector problems. Misfiring, excessive smoke, hard starts, loss of power. We test and replace injectors at your location.
Cooling system failures. The climb to the Siskiyou Summit overheats trucks that run fine at lower elevations. Head gaskets, cracked heads, failed water pumps. We repair cooling system failures on-site.
Cold start failures. Glow plug systems, intake heaters, and block heater circuits fail in the cold. Trucks that started fine in Sacramento will not turn over in Mount Shasta in January. We diagnose and repair cold start systems.
Factory-level scan tools before we pull wrenches. Loss of power on the grade could be a turbo, injector, fuel system, or aftertreatment problem. We find the right answer before spending your money on the wrong repair.
